Sustainable asphalt: at the forefront of innovation
Always attentive to environmental policies, the company Ronzoni Srl enters loudly in the works that make sustainability its own leit motiv.
The construction site of Robbio, a municipality in the province of Pavia, which has chosen to pave its streets with new asphalt derived from the recycling of tires, closes today. The Rubber Asphalt, as it is called by science, was born in 2016, but has only been applied in recent years. Moreover, moving from scientific studies to practical application always takes time: adapting the means, defining application times and quantities and preparing the team for a new type of intervention reveals an ability resulting from studies, analyses and tests.
Following our natural inclination for innovation, we have welcomed this new material with strong enthusiasm, convinced that sustainability must lay the foundation of our actions. The result is tangible.
Road paving made with asphalt from recycled tyres has several advantages: it increases the durability of the pavement itself, improves its drainage, increases friction in favour of greater road safety and is effective against noise pollution.
