Ronzoni S.r.l. alongside road workers with StradAcademy
On 17 July last, in the presence of leading representatives of organisations, institutions and construction companies from all over Italy, the presentation event of StradAcademy, the first training centre entirely dedicated to road site workers, was held. An ambitious and concrete project promoted by ESEM-CPT, with the active collaboration of Ronzoni S.r.l. and technical partner Wirtgen Macchine.
The official inauguration of StradAcademy, the first training centre entirely dedicated to road construction site workers, took place on 17 July at the Ronzoni S.r.l. headquarters in Cesano Maderno.
The event brought together over 200 people including companies, technicians, institutional representatives and authorities from all over Italy, testifying to the importance and urgency of specialised and concrete training in the road infrastructure sector.
Promoted by ESEM-CPT – and made possible thanks to the active collaboration of Ronzoni S.r.l. and its technical partner Wirtgen Macchine S.r.l., StradAcademy marks a turning point for the entire road sector.
“StradAcademy was created to give a concrete answer to a real need – said Luca Cazzaniga, President of ESEM-CPT -. With the birth of StradAcademy we want to give the road sector dedicated care and attention. (…) Precisely for this reason, we have chosen to create a detached ESEM-CPT office, with real operating machines, expert trainers and tailor-made training courses“.
“Those working on road construction sites face complex and often underestimated conditions every day” emphasised Salvatore Cutaia, Vice President of ESEM-CPT. “Therefore, with StradAcademy we want to offer much more than just a training centre: we want to become a stable, concrete, reliable point of reference for workers, technicians and companies in the sector”.
A shared project, a common vision
The centrepiece of the event was a round table entitled ‘You build our going. We defend your return’: a moment of in-depth discussion on central themes such as safety, innovation and dignity of work.

The training courses, starting this autumn, will take place in Ronzoni S.r.l.’s classrooms and outdoor area.

On site, participants will find real operating machinery, experienced trainers and state-of-the-art digital tools, including ESPERANTO, a multilingual avatar designed to break down language barriers on multicultural construction sites.
