Parking Implementation in Gerenzano

Parking spaces are an integral part of the urban mobility system, as traffic flow is strongly influenced by parking conditions. For the construction of the new car park in Gerenzano, a town in the province of Varese, we first studied the state of the land, bringing it to level with ground movements that allowed levelling and cleaning of the surface. It was followed by the phases of emulsification, paving and signposting on the ground, as well as the construction of sidewalks and green areas. The car park is connected to the bike path that leads from the hinterland to the city center. With 100 parking spaces, the car park rehabilitates a previously abandoned area and is now a public utility.
