Ronzoni Srl against violence against women: today with CAP for a new “feminine”
On November 24, 2025, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Ronzoni Srl participated in the conference “Alla e apare – Donne che ristartono dal lavoro” (Equal Opportunities – Women Restarting from Work), promoted by Gruppo CAP and the Women’s Council of Milan. This was a valuable opportunity to reflect on the dynamics of violence in the construction sector and the cultural responsibilities of businesses. The goal: to build a more equitable, informed, and respectful working future.
The meeting, sponsored by Gruppo CAP and the Milan Women’s Council, took place on November 24th at CAMPERIO Business Park. The meeting was dedicated to a collective reflection on the issue of violence against women, with a specific focus on the work environment in the construction sector. “Allied Women Restarting from Work”—the title of the meeting—was a significant event, bringing together businesses, institutions, and associations committed to protecting women’s rights and promoting safer, more inclusive, and respectful work environments.
Moderated by Elena Federici, Founding Member of the Zonta Milano Sant’Ambrogio Club and Councilor of the Women’s Council of Milan, the following were present:
– Laura Caradonna, President of the Women’s Council of Milan;
– Diana De Marchi, President of Equal Opportunities and Civil Rights with responsibility for Labor, Social Policies, and Equal Opportunities for the Metropolitan City of Milan;
– Carlo Restelli, Supplier Project Manager for the CAP Group;
– Giada Andriolo of the Association of Women Jurists of Italy, Milan branch;
– Francesca Mosciatti, President of the Women’s Problems Center.
Among the most heartfelt contributions was that of Beatrice Ronzoni, Administrative Officer, the voice and face of the third generation of Ronzoni Srl, who shared a lucid and profoundly institutional analysis of an often overlooked aspect: psychological violence.
“Violence against women does not only manifest itself in its most obvious forms, such as physical or economic. There is an often invisible but equally damaging dimension: psychological violence. In the workplace, and particularly on construction sites, it can emerge through language, attitudes, or habits that undermine a person’s well-being and violate their emotional well-being. These behaviors represent an important wake-up call: violence against women is not just a gender issue, but a phenomenon rooted in the cultural fabric of our society.
In a traditionally male-dominated industry, characterized by a physical approach to work and a fast-paced pace, the risk of making inappropriate jokes or engaging in demeaning relational dynamics is greater. The resulting psychological damage is often faced in silence: a silence that weighs heavily, gradually eroding self-confidence, and can leave deep, though invisible, wounds.
For this reason, it is essential to recognize that verbal and psychological violence is not a minor phenomenon, nor should it be overlooked. On the contrary, like physical and economic violence, it must be addressed with determination, awareness, and collective responsibility. Only through authentic cultural transformation can we guarantee work environments capable of protecting the dignity, respect, and integrity of every person.
His words brought the value of language, relationships, and the small daily gestures that build—or undermine—the emotional climate of a company back to the forefront. A powerful reminder to recognize everyone’s responsibility, in a sector that can and must be an active part of change.
An ongoing commitment
For Ronzoni Srl, participating in this moment of discussion is not a formal gesture, but an action consistent with the company’s desire to promote a new cultural model, capable of overcoming stereotypes, preventing harmful dynamics, and putting the individual at the center.
Psychological violence, like physical and economic violence, must be recognized, named, and addressed. Only in this way can the construction sector become a place where every professional—woman or man—can work with dignity and safety.
A spreading culture
Violence against women is not a private problem: it is a social problem.
And the world of work can and must be part of the solution.
Ronzoni Srl thanks Gruppo CAP and all the organizations involved for creating an opportunity for listening, reflection, and awareness. Because cultural change comes from words, examples, and moments like this.
