In Europe, bridges and viaducts are mostly made of concrete in combination with reinforced iron. A resistant material that, in addition to natural aging, is easily subjected to environmental influences, static overloads and salt spillage, with damage to the structure. Maintenance is essential to ensure safety. To do this our company adopts the technique of hydrodemolition, a method that allows partial removal of damaged concrete by means of a water jet up to 3000 bar and up to 400 liters/min. The advantage in removing concrete by means of high-pressure water jets is vibration-free processing, which prevents tension cracks and cleans the reinforcement against corrosion.
