The construction of the bridge at night carried out in the Municipality of Vigevano (PV) on commission of the Ticino Park has provided for several stages of execution, including the construction of the bridge itself, performed in just 10 working days.
The bridge has a steel structure of 25 m x 3 m. In order to reduce the time required for paving, the bridge was assembled in the warehouse area, about 3 km from the installation site, it was loaded on a truck and immediately laid at the Don Antonio stream. The move was carried out with exceptional transport between 21:00 and 24:00 so that the installation was completed the same night, thus minimizing inconvenience for motorists.
Different means used. Among them a 110 Q wheeled excavator for assembly; a 250-ton crane truck for loading bridge to the warehouse and at Torrente Don Antonio (Weight of bridge 16000 kg – Reach 25 mt).
