From 21 June to 6 July 2020, the company Ronzoni Srl took care of the redevelopment of the road pavement of the Milan-Meda motorway. In 14 days, from 20 PM to 5.30 AM, 143 thousand quintals of asphalt were used to pave 130 thousand square meters of road. With 40 people dedicated to the resurfacing of the MILANO-MEDA 2020 SPEX SS N° 35, we have paved 335 linear meters per night. The speed of execution was possible thanks to an efficient logistics and the availability of material, drawn from the 2 owner plants at our disposal within a radius of 20 km. But it was not the only advantage: The environment has also benefited from our short distance and organization: fewer trips for the transport of aggregates and shorter routes to transport them, have resulted in lower CO2 emissions and therefore a lower environmental impact.

INTERESTING FACT: The Milan-Meda Highway was born in the sixties on the basis of a project that wanted to make it an alternative to the often-clogged Motorway dei Laghi reaching the outskirts of Como. Officially 22 km long, the freeway is currently the backbone of road communications in Brianza along with the other freeway, the SS36 Milano-Lecco. It is a dual carriageway high-speed road with two lanes for each direction of travel.
