Beatrice Mozzaglia on the SITEB Agorà stage at Asphaltica 2026

On October 9, 2026, at BolognaFiere during the Asphaltica event, SITEB invited Beatrice Mozzaglia—a civil engineer at Ronzoni S.r.l.—to take the stage and discuss the role of women on road construction sites. It was an opportunity to reflect on sustainability and ESG, focusing on the human element—transcending both gender and age.

On October 9, 2026, at the BolognaFiere exhibition center (Hall 37)—during the Asphaltica 2026 event—SITEB brought together the professionals who design, produce, and build roads. The forum, moderated by Marina Capocelli of *Rassegna del Bitume*, was titled: “Sustainability and ESG in Road Construction: Innovative Materials, Sustainable Worksites, Governance, and the Human Factor.”
Among the invited speakers was Beatrice Mozzaglia, who manages worksite operations for Ronzoni. She appeared not merely as a token figure to be showcased, but as a professional who experiences the reality of the worksite every day—handling scheduling, crews, suppliers, safety, and tight deadlines. One point emerged with particular clarity and force: whether on the worksite or in the office, the human factor plays a fundamental role. It is on a human level that respect, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas are built, allowing us to overcome barriers related to gender and age.

A voice that is still rarely heard in that context

After all, a roadworks site is a place for those who have what it takes—the skills, the strength, and the character. Those who work there understand the value of a decision made at six in the morning with rain on the way, and they know that such a decision has no gender.

In thanking the company that put its faith in her, as well as SITEB for bringing her experience to the stage, Beatrice Mozzaglia explained it clearly and without frills, using words that convey both gratitude and a sense of looking ahead:

«Thanks to SITEB and Ronzoni, I had the opportunity to share the experiences and challenges of a woman who decides to embark on a (wonderful) journey into site management—a journey made possible by the backing and support of my colleagues and the people around me».

Our commitment: a project of value

Bringing Engineer Mozzaglia’s story to a national stage means two things. The first is showing those deciding on their future careers that this path is truly viable. The second is recognizing the value of individuals.
For Ronzoni, supporting those who are growing professionally is part of the job—just like training, safety, and material quality.
